Entrepreneur & Vi Millioniare GJ Reynolds Discusses How To Become a Good Teacher and a Better Student On The Simply G Radio Show, a Division of The Simply G Media Network
Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with Entreprenuer and Vi Millionaire GJ Reynolds on Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.
Neil Haley, the Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio Show, interviewed Entrepreneur and Vi Millionaire GJ Reynolds, to find out how to become a good teacher and a better student.
Reynolds is an original founding member in the company ViSalus
and is now a 5 Star Ambassador, Vi Millionaire, and CEO of Simply G
Media. He has written a book titled “The Playful and Powerful Warrior
Within You!” and holds the distinction of completing the Dale Brown
Challenge by working out for over 1000 days straight. He is also ranked
in the top ten percent of people in social media.
The primary topic for the show is how to
become a good teacher and a better student. GJ said, “You need to
become a life long learner if you choose to elevate yourself. I strive
to be a life long learner. I read books, and attend seminars. I am
always open to finding new and useable nuggets.”
As Neil Haley shared, “GJ lives by this on a daily basis.”
The first step in accomplishing this, GJ
describes on his show, “A good teacher loves learning more than he
hates failing. This allows the person to accept risks and be willing to
take some risks too. You have to go out and be uncomfortable to grow
your self and your business.”
The second step is to know emotion
follows motion. GJ said on the show, “I see a lot of people be all
emotional and use their motion to do something great. I suggest having
an accountability partner to turn your motion into positive actions and
results. Choose the first step. We tend to put things off, especially
boring or mundane task. When we take the first step, we create momentum
and we are much more likely to complete the task. Sometimes we just need
to take that first step—as difficult as that might seem at times, the
rest falls in line. Go on, take that first step. I also suggest changing
your state. When we fail to feel like getting up or doing anything, we
will drastically change our physiology. Do something to radically change
your physical state. Motion creates emotion.”
The third step GJ described is to
realize knowing what to do is doing what they know. “Most people have
the solution to do something. Are we going to honor what is best for us?
Are you honoring what is best for you, or are you listening to the
outside noise? I have found most people know what is right for
themselves. The key is realizing to choose the actions they know.”
The fourth step GJ explained on his show
is every person one meets has something to teach them. “You are able to
definitely learn something from everyone. The best advice is to be open
to learning.” As Coach John Wooden once said, It is what you do after
you know it all that counts.”
The last step had several components
that GJ broke down. “It is to know that learning increases when you have
skin in the game. There are several things that go hand and hand. Are
you learning and teaching something everyday? To discover the enemy of
learning is knowing. Live to learn. When you choose to earn more, learn
more and apply more. Then you will have more. The minute you stop
learning, you become less effective.”
