2014 Winter Olympic X Game Star Angeli Vanlaanen Discusses How She Lives With Lyme Disease on The Total Education Celebrity Show, a Division of The Simply G Media Network

Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with 2014 Olympic and X Game Star Half-Pipe Star Angeli Vanlaanen with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

Neil Haley, The Total Tutor host of the Total Education Celebrity Show, interviewed half-pipe skiing athlete Angeli Vanlaanen to find out about how she found out she had Lyme Disease and how she has been able to overcome it and get back to competition.
In this interview, Vanlaanen shared that doctors had a difficult time figuring out what was wrong with her. Vanlaanen developed extreme fatigue, fainting, and Dyslexia. When she was 10 years old and living in Wisconsin, she was diagnosed from one thing to another. It wasn’t until 14 years later, in 2009, when her aunt saw a documentary about Lyme disease and shared it with Vanlaanen that she was able to get diagnosed (and treated) correctly.
Vanlaanen explained that she had mixed emotions, as it was a great relief for her to find out what was wrong with her, but, at the same time, she had a long road to recovery ahead of her. After three years of treatment, lifestyle changes and antibiotics—and a break from competition—Vanlaanen has put the disease in remission and has been able to return to skiing.
“Over the years I’ve learned to overcome it,” Vanlaanen said. “The personality trait I have is to stick to it. That’s what I did in sports. I am going achieve this. The illness was a hindrance, but Lyme Disease made me become mentally strong. My body is reactive now being in remission. When I do a trick, it is much easier. I am able to enjoy what I am doing it is coming easily.”
Vanlaanen wanted to spread awareness for Lyme disease, so she made a 30-minute documentary film called Lymelife to share her story online. According to Vanlaanen, her goal is to reach the highest level in Half Pipe so can bring awareness to others. She’s the founder of LymeLight, a campaign to raise money and spread awareness about Lyme disease.
“I have a unique opportunity and a huge motivation to use that platform to do a lot good in the world. Give back to people.”
CEO of Simply G Media GJ Reynolds said, “Angeli was able to stay the course and make the Olympics. She has an inspiring story.”
She also talked about training and preparation for the X games and Olympics during the interview.

Elected to the NBA Hall of Fame in 1987, Barry is the only player in history to lead the NCAA, NBA, and ABA in scoring. His name appears near the top of every all-time offensive list. He scored more than 25,000 points in his professional career and in four different seasons averaged more than 30 points. He was named to 12 All-Star teams, four All-NBA First Teams, and five All-ABA First Teams. Barry was a nearly unstoppable offensive juggernaut, a passionate competitor with an untempered desire to win. According to reports, his fiery competitiveness would occasionally grate on rivals—and teammates, too.
In the interview, Barry shared how he first became a broadcaster and was able to maintain that role for many years. He always wanted to have something to fall back on after his career.
Currently Barry is enjoying his youngest son playing basketball at the college of Charleston. “I have been really blessed,” Barry said. “Being able to watch my son play basketball, and enjoy life, what a great thing. I have had blessed life.”
“Living those life experiences are fantastic,” said co-host Reynolds.
Barry said that he feels that parents who pressure their children into sports are wrong. He’s adamant about parents easing up on their kids and letting them find their own path.
“As a parent I do not put pressure on my kids,” Barry confirmed. “You are there support them. It is very sad to see parents who pressure their children.”
Another endeavor that Barry talked about was the basketball shoe that he invested in, Ektio. He learned about the shoe from Dr. Barry Katz, and the shoe saved his son from a serious injury. According to Barry, the independent reviews have been fantastic.
Barry spends some of his time now putting together fishing trips for businesses. He has trips to Alaska and Mexico planned and, Barry said, if he gets enough people on the trip he would bring another celeb along with him.
“You need find something your passion about it, apply yourself to it, the more you learn the bigger the foundation,” Barry said.

Simply G Media Network announced the release of a recent interview with 3-Time NFL Pro Bowler AFC Champion from the Seattle Seahawks Norm Johnson with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.
Neil Haley, The Total Tutor host of the Total Education Celebrity Show, interviewed Norm Johnson to find out about his new entrepreneurial venture and his Super Bowl prediction.
Johnson, a former professional American football placekicker who played for 18 seasons in the National Football League, suited up for the Seattle Seahawks (1982–1990), Atlanta Falcons (1991–1994), Pittsburgh Steelers (1995–1998), and the Philadelphia Eagles (1999). Johnson played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Johnson finished his 18 NFL seasons with a field-goals made percentage of 76% and a 99% extra point success rate. He scored a total off 1,736 points during his career and ranks tenth on the NFL’s list of all time leading scorers, earning him the nickname “Mr. Automatic.”
In the interview, Johnson discussed how much he loved playing in Pittsburgh. “Pittsburgh is one of my favorite places to visit,” he said.
When talking about the upcoming Super Bowl between Seattle and Denver, Johnson discussed the buzz in Seattle. “Seattle is a pretty crazed town,” Johnson said. “Boy this town will go crazy if the Seahawks win the Super Bowl.”
He also explained how big of a rivalry there was between the Broncos and Seahawks when they were in the AFC West together. “There were big games in the King Dome. Elway gave us fits.”
After his playing career, Johnson landed in real estate but that became a real challenge for him during the housing crisis. “The industry crashed and burned, and I was not having fun in this industry,” he said. “That is why I decided to try the new venture.”
Johnson launched a beer for the fans called The 12 Man Pale Ale. Johnson’s enthusiasm for his new adventure showed in the interview.
When asked about his thoughts on the Super Bowl, Norm made a prediction on the Total Education Celebrity Show. “The Seahawks have great chance of winning but their best chance of winning is to keep Peyton Manning off the field as much as possible.” He believes that Seahawks can sustain some drives. “If the Broncos have 8 or 9 possessions, and the Seahawks have a lot three in outs and turnovers, we will be trouble. We have the Legion of Doom. The Broncos throw 3-yard passes, which will be difficult for Seattle to defend. Johnson went with his gut and picked the Seahawks to win.
“I believe the Broncos will win,” said Neil.
GJ Reynolds, CEO of Simply G Media, said I believe will Seahawks to win. It is hard to root for another AFC team. I do like Peyton though. GJ Reynolds is a Pittburgh Steeler fan and a Kansas City Chief fan.

    Every Brain is…

EVERY BRAIN IS BOTH A BROADCASTING STATION AND A RECEIVING STATION FOR THE VIBRATIONS OF THOUGHT.

Whatever the actual science of thought transmissions may be, it is true that if you wish to receive the power contained in the thoughts of others, you must condition your mind to receive those ideas. Listening helps condition your mind to receive valuable information contained in the thoughts of others. Set aside any preconceived notions you may have about the topic, and listen attentively and nonjudgmental to what is being said. Focus on the information, not on the speaker. Identify key concepts behind the speaker’s words. Train your mind to identify and absorb information that others often miss because their “receivers” are not tuned to the proper frequency.

    Practical Experience…

THE KEENEST MINDS ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN WHETTED BY PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE.

Theoretical knowledge without practical experience might be compared to a large mass of undirected energy. Until it is focused, it is difficult to direct the energy to a useful end. Practical experience is the lens through which the energy of knowledge may be focused and directed toward activities that will provide the greatest benefit. When you learn new concepts or have an idea that has not yet been tested, make it a practice to think through its application carefully before implementation. When you have considered the possibilities, and it still seems to be a good idea-get into action. The only way to get practical experience is to get to work executing your idea.

    A Dollar and Some Ambition!

Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.

And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice. To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.
Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?
Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit. To settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings.
Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of who and what they have become.
    To Your Success,
    Jim Rohn

KNOW YOUR OWN MIND, AND YOU WILL BE AS WISE AS THE SAGES

When you take charge of your mind, you take charge of your life. When you understand your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and desires, you can direct them to any end you choose.

Wisdom comes from taking the time to study yourself, to know why you are the person you are. Taking charge of your mind is a thoughtful, reflective, solitary process. Only you can come to understand the complex inner workings of your own mind, and you must be willing to spend the time and effort that gaining such insight requires.

    Applying “The Secret” Laws!

The movie, “The Secret” has now become main stream.  It is great, how it has brought out in the open, what has been taught, for thousands of years.

As good as the movie is, it has done a poor job, of providing the “How To”, harness the secret.  I first learned of many of the “Secret Laws”, upon reading the Holy Bible and Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”.   The book, “Think and Grow Rich”, is a book that I have read and carried with me for years.  Chapter One, “Thoughts are Things”.
Think about that for a moment, Thoughts Are Things!
I am a testament, of living a life that has truly been transcended, by my thought.  This has happened, by both my good and bad thoughts.  I want to share twelve “Secrets”, that I have used prior to “The Secret” coming out and from “The Secret” and how to apply them:
    1. Make a list of things you are grateful for and add to it, on a daily basis.
    2. Stop Talking and Thinking, about what you don’t like and don’t want.
    3. Take a break from criticizing and blaming others!
    4. Know that YOU are Deserving and worthy to HAVE anything and everything you might want, in life and from the universe.  The only difference between people who are living the life they want and those who aren’t, is their habitual ways of thinking!  You have the ability to change your mond, intantaniously.
    5. Use your mind to visualize.  Rehearse in your mind, your future, FEEL it, EXPERIENCE it, LIVE it.  Visualize it happening NOW!  Start doing this daily, for at least ten minutes a day!  This is such a powerful exercise, for attainment!
    6. When you recognize or sense an opportunity or impulse, that is in line with what you want,  Do Not Hesitate, To Act On It!
    7. Focus on Prosperity.  Visualize it!  Write out a check to yourself, for the sum of money, you would like to have and carry it in your wallet or purse.  Review it often.
    8. Improve your Health.  Health is a priority.  Free yourself of any past resentments or disappointments, you may be holding on to.  Instead, recall fun or funny moments, to help tou laugh your way back to health.  Feed your body and mind with good food, supplements and thoughts.
    9. Create and set an intention, that you are going to see the best in everything and everyone.
    10. Have Fun! This way of thinking and living should be filled with excitement and passion.  The more excitement and passion, the more fun that will exume!
    11. Belief in yourself!  You Are A SUPERSTAR!  Never Give Up, for you Can Do It!
    12. TAKE ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Specialized Knowledge

During the first World War, a Chicago newspaperman published certain editorials in which, among other statements, Henry Ford was called “an ignorant pacifist.”  Mr. Ford objected to the statements, and brought suit against the paper for libeling him.  When the suit was tried in the courts, the attorneys for the paper pleaded justification, and placed Mr. Ford, himself, on the witness stand, for the purpose of proving to the jury that he was ignorant.
The attorneys asked Mr. Ford a great variety of questions, all of them intended to prove, by his own evidence that, while he may posses considerable specialized knowledge pertaining to the manufacture of automobiles, he was, in the main, ignorant. Mr. Ford was plied with such questions as the following:  “Who was Benedict Arnold?” and “How many soldiers did the British send over to America to put down the Rebellion of 1776?”  In answer to the last question, Mr. Ford replied, “I do not know the exact number of soldiers the British sent over, but I have heard that it was a considerably larger number than ever went back.”
Finally, Mr. Ford became tired of this line of questioning, and in reply to a particularly offensive question, he leaned over, pointed his finger at the lawyer who had asked the question and Said, “If I should really want to answer the foolish question you have just asked, or any of the other questions you have been asking me, let me remind you that I have a row of electric push-buttons on my desk, and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid men who can answer any question I desire to ask concerning the business to which I am devoting most of my efforts.  Now, will you kindly tell me, why I should clutter up my mind with general knowledge, for the purpose of being able to answer questions, when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require?”
There certainly was good logic to that reply.
That answer floored the lawyer.  Every person in the courtroom realized it was the answer, not of an ignorant man, but of a man of education.  Any man is educated who knows where to get knowledge when he needs it, and how to organize it that knowledge into definite plans of action.  Through the assistance of his “Master Mind” group Henry Ford had at his command all the specialized knowledge he needed to enable him to become one of the wealthiest men in America.  It was not essential that he have this knowledge in his own mind.
You Can Get All the Knowledge You Need.

Never Put the HOW Before the WHY!

Let the Story Move You Into Action: People always ask me, “G, how can I build a business like you’ve got?” A lot of times they don’t understand that the “why” is just as important as the “how-to.” In this business the “why” is so important because it gives people belief. All it takes is a good success story to show that everybody who builds this business, including myself, have faced adversity at one time or another, and those who really want to succeed will stick with it until their challenges are beaten. People who are having a hard time getting their business off the ground say to their mentors, “Well, you wouldn’t understand what I’m going through. You’re not where I’m at. You’re already successful.” Not true. The mentors were there themselves, or somewhere even worse. It’s not until people hear stories from some of the most renowned businesspeople, politicians, entertainers, professionals, or ministers that they realize these people went through the same obstacles, when they were starting out. The majority of stories you’ll hear from people in this business are about success, was achieved in the face of adversity, and that’s why they’re so special. On any given subject, you don’t have to go very far to find tons of whiners. You see, negative people will tell a hard-luck story just for the sake of complaining. Instead of learning from their mistakes, they’d rather complain to anybody and everybody about how their failure was somebody else’s fault. On the other hand, the stories you hear in this business start off as hard-luck stories and then turn into stories of success. That’s because winners don’t quit when they encounter one failure or two failures or ten or twenty. Some people make excuses; other people make decisions. But you can’t make them both. A good success story empowers you to overcome your own challenges, but a good success story isn’t enough. You have to empower yourself to apply the knowledge you learn from the story to your own life. It’s your choice. You set your priorities. If you want to empower yourself you’ve got to realize you’re in charge. You can hear the greatest story in the world or have the greatest Business Support Team in the world and they still can’t make you do something you’ve decided you’re not going to do. Until you believe in yourself enough to empower yourself to do what it takes to succeed, the message won’t matter.  There’s nothing better for building belief than a good success story. The “how-to” is important in this business, it’s the “WHY” that will make you want to learn the “how-to.” Your Business Support Team can supply you with both, you have the freedom to choose your own destiny. You have to have a partnership with them in your empowerment. Failure exists because people don’t understand the power of empowerment. Why not empower yourself to choose a life better than the rest?
Go after your WHY and don’t take your dreams, goals and aspirations to the grave!  You deserve it!

A Message from Coach Dale Brown!

American citizens must take back their government and quit relying on career politicians.  Our apathy and greed has put us in this crisis.
“God give us men. A time like this demands Strong minds, great hearts, true faith and ready hands.
Men whom the lust of office does not kill.
Men whom the spoils of office cannot buy.
Men who possess opinions and a will.Men who love honor, men who will not lie.”(Josiah Holland)
Gandhi believed that many social problems stem from the passive violence that permeates everyday life and he called them the :seven Blunders”, which are:
    1.   Wealth Without Work-Striving to get rich quickly and easily-making money without really working for it.
    2.  Pleasure Without Conscience-People doing things that are hurtful to themselves and others while attempting to find pleasure and excitement.
    3.   Knowledge Without Character:-Viewing education as a means of getting ahead with little regard for character education.
    4.   Commerce Without Reality-Bussiness making money by any means possible, exploiting workers and natural rescurces.
    5.   Science Without Humanity-Pursing advanced technology with nlittle regard for its social or environmental impact.
    6.   Worship Without Sacrifice-Hypocrisy.Professing to have religious beliefs, but not living accordingly.
    7.  Politics Without Principles-Tolerating a political system that rewards unethical behavior.
Are you fed up with what is happening? Then do something about it besides just complaining.Be active by voting, demanding the people we elect represent us,express your opinions to elected officials, and stand up for what you know is right. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
    Sincerely,

CONSTANCY OF PURPOSE IS THE FIRST PRINCIPLE OF SUCCESS

It is critical to your success that you have a well-thought-out plan for your life and that you stick with it regardless of what others may say and the obstacles you encounter. There will always be faultfinders and those who attempt to persuade you that your goals aren’t worth the effort you put into achieving them. Those people will never go far, and they will be the first to ask for your help after you have passed them by.
Virtually every successful person has considered giving up at some point in his or her struggle to reach the top. And many breakthroughs occurred soon after those same people rededicated themselves to their purpose. There is no known obstacle that cannot be overcome by a person who has constancy of purpose, a Positive Mental Attitude, and the discipline and willpower to succeed.

GREAT ACHIEVEMENT IS BORN OF A STRUGGLE

“Our strength grows out of our weakness,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson. “Not until we are pricked and stung and sorely shot at, awakens the indignation which arms itself with secret forces.” Strife and struggle can inspire you to overcome adversity and to propel yourself to real achievement. View every struggle as an opportunity for personal growth. It is the struggle itself, not the result that builds character. If you know you are right, stay the course even though the whole world seems to be against you and everyone you know questions your judgment. When you prevail-and you eventually will if you stick to the job-they will all tell you that they knew all along you could do it.
This positive message is brought to you by the Napoleon Hill Foundation.

Top 10 Secrets of Getting Rich!

As many people have observed, “Success leaves clues.” If you want to achieve extraordinary success in the coming year, study the experts, do what they do, and modify their techniques to suit your particular situation. It’s easy! Well, maybe not easy, but there are basic fundamentals. In the belief that we all need to be reminded of them regularly, here are some of the secrets that have helped me and my clients over the years:
    1. Focus on values. I’ve known people who made some money, but I’ve never known anyone who got rich without examining their own values, priorities and beliefs. Start by writing down a list of things you value, things you believe, what you want, and what you plan to do with this incredible life you have. Start with your values.
    2. Get a life. Before you can handle great wealth, you must make room for it. This is the old, “if you build it, they will come” model. Trying to squeeze success, wealth, fame or fortune into a small life won’t work. Create a life first; the lifestyle of your dreams will follow.
    3. Eliminate clutter. Trying to create success and achieve wealth while your life’s a mess won’t work. Success requires clear priorities and a passionate commitment. Simplify your life. Eliminate the excuses. Clean up everything that distracts you from reaching your most important goals.
    4. Specify your results. Nobody can hit a target they can’t see. Define your outcomes and set clear, achievable results in advance. Know what “success” looks like! Have measurable, specific outcomes and determine that you will achieve them!
    5. Burn your ships. There’s an ancient story about a Greek general who landed his troops on an enemy shore, then burned his ships. He wanted to make it very clear: Retreat and failure were not an option! Leave no room for failure.
    6. Put in more than you take out. No one will pay you more than your services are worth! Get clear about that! You just can’t fool people very long. Your services and your results must be far more valuable than the small fee you charge. Some people will rip you off; the rest will make you rich!
    7. Live below your means. Rich people know this. Wealth is accumulated, re-invested, used wisely and given away. It is never spent! Let the millionaire athletes and folks who win lotteries buy the fancy cars and flashy jewelry. If you want to achieve great wealth, live simply, invest wisely, enjoy it all!
    8. Get rich slowly. The key to great wealth is to minimize income, while maximizing your assets. Income is taxed. Income gets spent — think about all the cars, boats, diamonds and houses people with huge incomes like to buy! Investing in assets that are hard to spend (buildings, stocks and bonds, collectible art, etc) creates wealth that is not taxed, and isn’t spent on a casual impulse.
    9. Pay lots of taxes. No, I’m not talking about paying more than you owe, but pay every cent the law requires. Rich folks don’t haggle over nickels and dimes, they invest to make millions! If you can legally avoid taxes, do so! Use the law to your advantage when you can. But juggling the books to hide income or save a few bucks, wastes your time, wastes your energy, creates fear of getting caught, and makes you cheap. Don’t do it!
    10. Give it away. You can’t take it with you when you die, and money is not attracted to the selfish, the miserly or the mean. If you would attract money to your life, be clear about what you want to do with it. Contribute to charities that will use it for good. Make the world a better, richer place and you’ll create wealth that will last for generations to come. Your children will thank you!

    Push To The Top!

    Push To The Top!

All successful people are very productive.
They work longer hours and they work better hours.
They get a lot more done than the average person.
They get paid more and promoted faster.
They are highly respected and esteemed by everyone around them.
They become leaders and role models.
Inevitably, they rise to the top of their fields and to the top of their income ranges.
    So can YOU.

    Overcoming Adversity!

MOST FAILURES COULD HAVE BEEN CONVERTED INTO SUCCESSES IF SOMEONE HAD HELD ON ANOTHER MINUTE OR MADE MORE EFFORT.
When you have the potential for success within you, adversity and temporary defeat only help you prepare to reach great heights of success. Without adversity, you would never develop the qualities of reliability, loyalty, humility, and perseverance that are so essential to enduring success.
Many people have escaped the jaws of defeat and achieved great victories because they would not allow themselves to fail. When your escape routes are all closed, you will be surprised how quickly you will find the path to success.
Don’t take your dreams, goals and aspirations to the grave!  Go get them!

    SUCCESS ATTRACTS SUCCESS!

SUCCESS ATTRACTS SUCCESS AND FAILURE ATTRACTS FAILURE, BECAUSE OF THE LAW OF HARMONIOUS ATTRACTION.

In physics, positives attract negatives and vice versa, but in human relationships the opposite is true. Negative people attract only other negative people, while positive thinkers attract like-minded individuals.
You will find, that when you begin to achieve success more successes will follow. This is the law of harmonious attraction.
When riches begin to come your way, you’ll be amazed how quickly they accumulate. Train your mind to visualize yourself acquiring a specific amount of wealth or achieving a certain goal-whatever you most desire. Then use self-suggestion to persuade your subconscious mind that you can achieve your goal, and put your plan into action.
When you use the tools that you have at your disposal to prepare yourself for success and visualize yourself as having already reached your objective, you can achieve any reasonable goal that you set for yourself.
    Success!

GJ Reynolds –The Law of Attraction Continues!!!-Part #3

I want to also thank the rest of the team for the ability to rise to the occasion and always hustle!  For I have always lived by what all of you displayed during that 1972 -1974 run!

As some of you may know, (you can read one of my first blog entries, “My Story”, short version) I went through a bout with depression in 2000-2001.  Was suicide able too.  The grace of God saved me!  What also saved me, was all of those thoughts of the sayings from everyone I mentioned above!  You are good enough, you can do it!  Never ever give up!  Just practice the fundamentals!  These words kept coming into my spirit!  For gentlemen, you guys have assisted me in now being able to tell my story!!!!!!!!!!!
Back to the Law of Attraction!
Five years ago, I told one of my best friends, who happens to also be named Michael, The Arch Angel, that I wanted to assist others.  That my mission and cause was to tell my story.  I also told him that I wanted to connect to the people in my life that had provided inspiration for and to me!  I let him know of the people mentioned above!  He said, “G that will happen for you!”
Two years ago, almost to the day, I was at the Bellagio Hotel and I recognize Coach Dale Brown.  I fastly walked up to him and let him know how he knew me and how we had had a 30+ year relationship.  I also told him how he had had a major impact on me.  We ended up going up to his room, where he presented me with his new book, Memoirs of LSU Basketball, signed it and inscribed to never ever give up!  He also said they should not of cut me from the Tiger Tykes!   He also invited me to come to Baton Rouge and he would take me to lunch and provide me with some real LSU basketball memorabilia!
Wow, The Law of Attraction at work!
To the present! Two days ago, I receive not one, but two separate emails from PathConnect Business Development, of which I have been a part of.  The first email said, “I am trying to get in contact with GJ Reynolds. Would you be so kind to send me his e-mail.Thank you.  Dale Brown Former LSU Basketball Coach.”The second one came moments later!  It said, “Dear GJ, Dale Brown called me re this site. I am in, if possible. we are blazing trails. Ed Palubinskas shooting surgeon Best swishes.”Yes two of my heroes found me!  They were wanting to contact me!  They were just as anxious to talk to me, as I was to talk to them!   Praise the Lord! You see, Coach Dale Brown  was googling something, which led to an article, which led to my PathConnect site!  By reading my Heroes and Icons section, you will see, these people mentioned above are listed!
For the past two days, I have been communicating with “The Shooting Surgeon”  Eddie Palubinskas.  Two time Olympian, Olympic scoring Record Holder,  basketball coach at all levels and #1 Free Throw shooter in the world!
Last night, I had the privilege of receiving a call from Coach, himself.  We spoke for an hour!  We played catch up!  We talked about where we are at and where we are going!  Many similarities and life occurrences!  WOW!  He is also very close to my other favorite Coach, Coach Wooden!   I told him we were talking, because of divine intervention!  I told him we would be sharing the stage and telling others how to operate at a higher level.  I am speaking it!  Thoughts are things!
For those of you reading this,  use this as a lesson,  to put out your intentions you so desire.   Not what you do not want!  What You Want!  Speak it, Write it and Think it!
Success to all!  Thanks Ryan for creating PathConnect.  Paths do connect on PathConnect!  Thanks Coach and Thanks to each of the original “Hustlers”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GJ Reynolds –The Law of Attraction Continues!!!-Part #2

Four of these payers stand out to me.  Eddie Palubinskas was one of the best shooters ever.  Yes ever.  At age 55, he can still shoot 99% from the foul line and 92% from the three!  Too bad he did not have the three point line then!  He was a likeable, fun loving guy.  He seemed to truly like kids and he seemed to like me.  He provided inspiration and had fun interacting with the fans, me being one of them!  Mike Darnall was this great looking model of guy.  He had style! He was intense and could perform under pressure!  He was a solid player!  He was a great defender.  He could shut down any guard!  He was like the rock.  You could tell he had a little wild side to him too.  For some reason, he also took a liking to me too.  I remember that smile when I would go up and provide encouragement and congratulations!   Eddie and Mike were my favorite one two guard attack!  They were different personality wise and complemented each other on the court.  I do not know of their relationship off the court, on the court they were great!

Thanks Eddie for being an elderly friend!  Mike thanks for your strength, sportsmanship and style.  Thanks for showing me, that being the team’s top defender could be glorious!  I modeled my game after both of you and that of “Pistol Pete”  I always wore number 10 and when that was not available, I wore 33.  I named my first son Michael, yes after Mike Darnall!!!
Carl Seiner was just a great guy!  He was primarily a back-up role player.  In my mind, he was a star!  He was always happy and made a point to say hi to me!  I tried out for the original Tiger Tykes, made it to the final cut (hundreds tried out, from all across Louisiana .  I should have made it, however,  I got syked out and could not even make a simple layup.  Carl was in charge of my station and he took me aside and told me I was good enough to make it and to just settle down.  “You can do it”, he said.  “I am pulling for you!”
Although I did not make it, he provided a simple belief that I was good enough!  Afterwards, he said, “You are good enough to make it and with a little more practice, you will make it next year!”   I did not get the chance to try out the next year, because we moved to Kansas.  Those words have always stayed with me, “You can do it!”  You are good enough!  I am pulling for you!
Thanks Carl for pulling me aside and helping me out!  I knew in my heart then, you were pulling for me!
Collis Temple was my first minority hero.  He was the very first Black player, to play at LSU!  Although I never got as close to him as I did Eddie, Mike and Carl, he was always cordial and showed me that color did not make the man, heart and character did!  He was a solid physical talent and he was competitive!  He was a hustler!  He had the team’s back!  As displayed in that Vanderbilt game, when Wade Evans was in trouble.  Wow.  Thanks Collis for what you showed me from afar!
