GJ Reynolds Discusses How Obesity Is Leading To More Deaths Than We Thought

Vi 5 Star Ambassador GJ Reynolds Discusses How Obesity Is Leading To More Deaths Than We Thought On The Simply G Radio Show, a Division of The Simply G Media Network

Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with Founder of Mission G GJ Reynolds on Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

Neil Haley, the Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio Show, interviewed GJ Reynolds to find out why obesity is leading to more deaths in The United States than first thought.
Reynolds is an original founding member in the company ViSalus and is now a 5 Star Ambassador, Vi Millionaire, and CEO of Simply G Media. He has written a book titled “The Playful and Powerful Warrior Within You!” and holds the distinction of completing the Dale Brown Challenge by working out for over 1000 days straight. He is also ranked in the top ten percent of people in social media.
Data from very large national surveys show that all types of obesity are on the rise in America. People who are overweight or obese are far more likely than thinner people to have heart disease, cancer, diabetes and to have strokes or heart attacks. A higher percentage of fatter people are less fit than thinner people, and exercise can clearly protect them from death and disease.
GJ Reynolds shares an article he found on nbcnews.com. This article originally dated August 15, 2013, discusses how obesity is leading to more deaths. GJ said, “It is becoming more mainstream. It is an epidemic and it continues to grow.”
GJ talked about the solution to this epidemic, “It is very simple to have people to do this. They should be on the Project 10 Challenge. I challenge everyone to do so!”
GJ talked about some of the glaring numbers from the article, “One third of Americans are overweight. Another thirty five percent are obese. There is no question how we got here. I previously looked like I was on my deathbed. I was one percentage point away from being considered obese. Where I was headed was to my death. Thanks to the Project 10 Challenge, I have been able to lose 40 pounds. I feel great and I am excited everyday.”
Diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease are the most obvious consequences of obesity, and other results range from cancer, arthritis, and depression to kidney stones, fatty liver disease, and erectile dysfunction. All in all, obesity and overweight drains our society of $223 billion a year.
GJ talked about another number to consider. “According this article, 18 percent of all deaths in the United States have a direct link to obesity. We are ignoring the solutions to this epidemic. We are an army of one. Collectively we are an army. It starts with me.”
GJ also discussed how to benefit financially from being fit. “Anyone who has earned less $15,000.00 dollar a year is more likely to be obese. And if you earn $50,000.00 dollars or more a year the chance of becoming obese is greatly reduced.”

The Importance of Capacity to Grow a Business

The Importance of Capacity to Grow a Business

Vi Millioniare GJ Reynolds Discusses The Importance of Capacity to Grow a Business on the Simply G Radio Show, a Division of the Simply G Media Network

Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with Vimillionaire GJ Reynolds on Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

Neil Haley, the Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio Show, interviewed Vimillionaire GJ Reynolds to find out about the importance of capacity to grow a business.
GJ mentioned eight ways to improve ones capacity to grow. The first way is to grow your capacity is with emotional capacity. GJ said, “Two things that will determine your capacity to grow, intentionality and hunger. What is your intention and how hungry are you
“What determines how good of a leader I will become? My capacity to grow will become my capacity to lead. A s we have learned over the last few years, consistency is key. The great leaders are always being consistent on a daily basis and are open to increasing their overall capacity to grow. When you are able to determine a person’s capacity in the beginning the better off that person is able to lead long term.”
The next type of capacity GJ described was mental capacity. “ One of the things we have talked about is being physically strong. When you are physically strong, you have the capacity to much more mentally strong. The more you learn and apply the knowledge learned, the more one is able to improve their capacity to grow.”
The third type capacity GJ discussed was relational capacity. “Its all about people. An open and honest relationship. Trust is the catalyst. My business is a people business and creating strong relations is critical. Relationships must be based on capacity qualification.”
The fourth type of capacity GJ discussed is physical capacity. GJ shared, “As I have shared the more physically fit I am, the more I am able to increase the capacity in my life, in all areas.”
The fifth type of capacity GJ described is leadership capacity. “When a leader fails to lead and expects others to do it. They will never have the impact they may be able to have. A leader is able to have credibility by walking their talk. Your talk talks and your walk talks, and your walk talks louder than your talk talks. Are you walking the walk? When a leader does this, they have great influence.”
The sixth type of capacity is the capacity of teamwork. Neil Haley pointed out, “The definition of leadership capacity means reciprocal, purposeful learning together in community. Reciprocity is essential to solving problems and working collaboratively.”
Reynolds also shared, “Leadership ability is the lid that determines a person’s level of effectiveness. Your leadership ability always determines your effectiveness and the potential impact of your organization. The capacity to grow is essential.”
Equipping capacity was the seventh capacity discussed. GJ said, “It Is the catalyst for a team to be successful. Fully equipping a team or organization allows the team to be more effective. When this is completed thoroughly, an organization has more sustainability and success.”
The last type of capacity discussed was creative capacity. GJ described why he enjoys growing in this, “I personally enjoy the creative process and I thrive in understanding what works with social media and business today. Business is always changing. Thinking outside the box and being creative is key in today’s business climate and I enjoy elevating my capacity in this area.”

The Blind Side Co-star Quinton Aaron Who Played Michael Oher Shares His Story

The Blind Side Co-star Quinton Aaron Who Played Michael Oher Shares His Story and Foundation On The Total Celebrity Show, a Division of The Simply G Media Network

Simply G Media Network today announced the release of an interview with co-star from the movie The Blind Side Quinton Aaron with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor, and writer Blake Robinson.

Neil Haley, The Total Tutor host of the Total Celebrity Show, and writer Blake Robinson interviewed Quinton Aaron to find out about his career and charity work.
Quinton Aaron, best-known for his portrayal of Michael Oher, “Big Mike” in the blockbuster movie, The Blind Side, now dedicates himself to sharing his experiences, finding meaningful solutions, and helping children who find themselves victims of bullying and childhood obesity. Quinton’s approach, openly and honestly dealing with these issues, has already proven tremendously successful. Aaron and his foundation started delivering his anti-bullying message in October of 2012 and since then, he and his team have visited countless schools, churches, and anti-bullying programs around the country. In 2015, The Quinton Aaron Foundation intends to bring its message to the entire world in the form of the first ever, “Anti-Bullying World Summit.” For more on The Quinton Aaron Foundation visit http://www.QuintonAaron.org.
Quinton described why he wanted to work security for the Blind Side. “Well, when I went into the meeting with the director, I had experience working on TV sets and movie sets doing security. Growing up, I was not used to good things happening to me. I did not see myself getting this part. If I am on the set, I can meet people and network. I got business cards and go on the set to protect people. I never thought I would get the part.”
Quinton had some difficult times leading up to the call. The months leading up to the call were some harder months of my life. I lost my mom four months before. Her social security got cut off. I did not have income to pay rent. The little I made from security was used to feed us. The security job had slow times. We lost water and lights. I would have to walk three miles for food from my Aunts. I would go to mom’s house to shower. I would have probably ended up in jail if I didn’t have a little brother.”
Quinton added, “The call came and everything changed. The struggles were the same as what Michael went through in the Blind Side. This is what the director wanted me to do.”
Michael remains grounded, even though he has had success. Michael shared why he started his foundation. “Well a couple years ago I met David Todd, the Executive Director of the foundation. He asked me if I had my one foundation. I thought that was cool. He asked me what would the foundation be about. Bullying. I was bullied as a child. It is not fun when it happens. Quinton travels around the country talking to kids at schools.”

Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with Entrepreneur, ViMillionaire and ViSalus 5 Star Ambassador GJ Reynolds on Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

Neil Haley, the Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio Show, interviewed GJ Reynolds to find out why thechildhood obesity rate has doubled in Ireland.
Reynolds is an original founding member in the company ViSalus and is now a 5 Star Ambassador, Vi Millionaire, and CEO of Simply G Media. He has written a book titled “The Playful and Powerful Warrior Within You!” and holds the distinction of completing the Dale Brown Challenge by working out for over 1000 days straight and being on the Project 10 Challenge too. He is also ranked in the top ten in social media in the world.
Two-thirds of doctors are treating more overweight and obese children than they did two years ago in Ireland. Significantly, nine out of 10 have made Ireland’s spiraling childhood obesity problem their top priority.
More than one in four children are now classed as overweight or obese in Ireland, a figure which has doubled in the last 15 years. Just over half (53%) confirmed an increase in the number of children with sleep problems and 46% confirmed an increase in the number of children who had asthma.
The 62% of doctors who are treating more children who are overweight or obese also reported a rise in obesity-related illnesses. Six out 10 of the doctors who are members of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (RCPH) Ireland, also see more children with mental health problems than they did over the previous two years.
More than three-quarters (79%) reported an increase in anxiety cases. Nearly four out of 10 (37%) are dealing with more cases of self-harm and a quarter are seeing more children suffering with depression. Significantly, 92% of pediatricians are worried children with mental problems are not able to receive treatment quickly enough.
GJ discussed how his company ViSalus has started doing business in Ireland and is able to provide solutions to this increasing problem. GJ shared, “We started our launch in Ireland mid year. We had our initial kickoff and we are having our official pre-launch later this month. We are excited about having the Project 10 Challenge in Ireland so we are able to assist others in transforming their life, health and prosperity.”
GJ was shocked to see the alarming obesity rates in Ireland. He said, “It is amazing to see how in Ireland over a 15 year period the childhood obesity rate has doubled. That rate has gone up fast, just like it has done in the US. It is definitely a global epidemic. It is very sad to see this happen. Over 27 percent of children in Ireland are considered obese and rising.
GJ outlined the solution to this problem. He said, “You have got to get them good nutritional products that work and taste good. The Project 10 Challenge is the solution. Once you’ve set your weight-loss, active, or fitness goal, go public by shooting your video and posting it on challenge.com. Then, shoot another video and upload once you lose 10 pounds. ViSalus giving 10 people a week $1,000 dollars. In addition, we feed a kid in need every time someone documents their personal ten pounds of weight loss or lean muscle gain.
When this happens, we feed a kid in need thirty meals. We have already helped tens of thousands of kids in the North America, the UK, Germany and Austria. Now we are able to do this in Ireland and have a major impact on the country’s challenge. It is such a great platform that is easy to implement. With great-tasting products that help one is able to have the results they want.”
Reynolds continued to add, “Instead of adapting ones lifestyle to fit a program, the Project 10 Challenge is adapted to fit anyone’s lifestyle. By implementing a simple and successful platform, we are able to start to have a handle on the fast rising obesity rates in Ireland.”

He is also ranked in the top ten in social media in the world.
GJ described life after the military. I was looking for a career in microwave and/or satellite communications. I got a job with American Satellite Company and after four mergers and acquisitions the company became what is now known as Verizon. When I first got out of the military I was initially at a place where I was a little nervous. In the Army I had a mission to accomplish, on a daily basis. I worked with my fellow Army team members and developed close nit relationships. I found myself in civilian life missing this.
GJ discussed the ways Mission G helps vets with both Mission G Foundation and Simply G. GJ is now an experienced 24 year entrepreneur veteran. He shared, “I am able to provide education and mentorship to Veterans transitioning from the military to civilian life. I love working with military personnel and veterans because they show up and are willing to work. They understand the importance of having a common mission, and they go to work to help accomplish the mission. I recognize those skills in them and point them in the right direction. We are teaching and helping veterans to learn how to use their skills in being entrepreneurial. Being an entrepreneur is simply a different path using their current skill sets. I am a byproduct of being taught many of these skills in the military and having great mentorship. I have several key mentors. I am now choosing to pay it forward.”

Entrepreneur GJ Reynolds Discusses the Importance of Having a Growth Environment Part 3

    • Environments with Growth is encouraged is a MUST!

ViMillioniare Entrepreneur GJ Reynolds Discusses the Importance of Having a Growth Environment Part 3 on the Simply G Radio Show, a Division of the Simply G Media Network

Neil Haley, the Total Tutor host of the Simply G Radio Show, interviewed Entrepreneur and ViMillioniare GJ Reynolds to find out about the importance of having a growth environment in business (Part 2).
Reynolds is an original founding member in the company ViSalus and is now a 5 Star Ambassador, ViMillionaire, and CEO of Simply G Media. He has written the book titled, “The Playful and Powerful Warrior Within You!” and holds the distinction of completing the Dale Brown & Project 10 Challenges by losing 40 pounds and working out for over 1000 days straight. He is also ranked globally in the top ten percent of people in social media.
GJ continued to share in part three of a three-part series some of the key aspects he learned from Leadership Expert John C. Maxwell on what a company needs to do to create a growth environment. He specifically discussed ten ways to create a positive growth environment. GJ also described the ninth way to create a positive growth environment. GJ shared, “It is impossible to grow without change. One has to have a desire to change in order to grow. Plain and simple, one has to be willing to change. It is where growth starts by typically making small adjustments and changes. By having the desire and the willingness to change so there is growth, the personal or business mission and vision may have to be adjusted as well. Most people are resistant to change. Leaders understand there will be change for an organization to grow.”
GJ talked about one of his favorite steps, Step 10, It is a place where growth is modeled and expected. Is the leader modeling it for their team or organization? I personally expect success and I am willing to help anyone who chooses to attain this. Progress requires two steps, learning and doing. Many people believe knowledge is power. Applied knowledge is power. One has to be willing to learn and apply what was learned and apply it.”
Two things will determine the capacity to grow: intentionality and hunger. Is the person willing to walk the walk? Does the intention line up with the actions? How hungry is the person choosing to grow?

        S-T-R-E-T-C-H Yourself By Darren Hardy-Part #1

Great Article Series by one of my friends/mentors Daren Hardy!

If you are going to achieve goals you have never achieved before, you must be willing to do what you have never done before.

One of those things is to allow, no actually push, yourself to FAIL. And if you want to succeed big, you have to fail big. There is no way around it.
When I was only 20 years old, I got into residential real estate sales. It was the early ’90s, and the real estate market was as tough as it is right now. I knew nothing about the real estate business; I had no prior experience, clientele or even credibility—I wasn’t even old enough to drink! But in just 90 days, I was outselling (new listings and pending escrows) an entire office of 44 veteran agents—combined!
The strategy I am going to reveal to you made that possible and is one of my personal-achievement secret weapons. I now offer it to you…
When I went to my first real estate seminar, I asked the lecturer to lunch. I asked him for his best tip on being successful in real estate. His answer was, “Go fail—a lot.”
“What?!” I said. “I thought the whole idea of success was to avoid failure.” “Quite the opposite,” he said. Then he told me a quote from Tom Watson of IBM: “The key to success is massive failure.” He said, “Your goal is to out-fail your competition. Whoever can fail the most, the fastest and the biggest wins.”
        I was still perplexed.
Then he drew this analogy out on a cocktail napkin. He said, “Life, growth and achievement work like a pendulum.
On one side, you have failure, rejection, defeat, pain and sadness.
On the other side, you have success, acceptance, victory, joy and happiness.
If you stand still in life, you won’t experience either side of life, neither the failure and pain nor the success and happiness.
Over time, most people figure out how to operate in a narrow comfort zone. They can only accept a certain amount of pain, rejection and failure. But then they also only experience the same degree of joy, connection and success.”
The key is that you cannot experience one side without an equal proportion of the other. This is the mistake most people make: They think they can have success without failure, love without heartache, and happiness without sadness. As sure as we have gravity, we have the duality and pendulum of success and failure.

John C. Maxwell: How to Retain Talented Employees

John C. Maxwell: How to Retain Talented Employees

Your employees are your business, so use these four guiding principles to help you make the right moves to hold on to them.

In 1997 I decided to move my organizations from San Diego to Atlanta. I knew the relocation would mean saying goodbye to some great friends and colleagues on these teams. I wondered: How many would stay in a city they loved and how many would pick up their lives to make the move with the rest of us?
You can imagine my delight when more than 60 people came with us. Though I have always known the importance of hiring the right people, in that moment I realized how special my people were, how committed they were to our vision and how fortunate I was that they wanted to stick with us even when it wasn’t convenient.
Every day I am grateful for the people who work alongside me, some of whom have been with me for decades. The quest for the ideal team is the biggest, most important task you’ll face as a leader. Your ability to find, develop and retain the best people is the single greatest factor in determining your success.
          No pressure, right?
I’m always on the lookout for winners. I’m always excited to introduce talented newcomers to my team, but I hold onto them only loosely. Here’s why: I want to work with people who want to work with me. I’m fortunate that many have chosen to stay.
How do you create an atmosphere that makes those top performers want to remain by your side? How do you keep them from being lured away by the competition or opportunities elsewhere? The key to keeping talented people is to create a culture that’s hard to walk away from. Here’s what you need to do:
          1. Know your team. My greatest pleasures in life come from three things: great food, great friends and great conversations. Luckily the people I work with are also some of my closest friends. As a result my work and play blend seamlessly. That’s important because relationships matter. People don’t leave companies; they leave people.
They also stay for people. The time you invest in creating personal connections with your team pays dividends in the long run.
          2. Coach for improvement. Your top performers are probably just like you—always striving to advance. Don’t just be their boss. Be their coach. Become the guiding force pushing them to excel.
I learned this from the very best, legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, whose mentorship changed my approach to leadership. He told me that he showed up for practice every day with one question: “How can I make my team better?” This single-minded emphasis on improvement led him to the kind of record-breaking success (10 NCAA Championships) that is not only rare, but unlikely to be replicated.
Also consider the philosophy of D. Michael Abrashoff, former captain of the Navy destroyer USS Benfold. Abrashoff started his command of this ship—plagued by low morale and poor evaluations—by asking every crew member the same question: “It’s your ship—how would you fix it?”
“Every leader needs big ears and zero tolerance for stereotypes,” he states in his book, It’s Your Ship. When you value every person regardless of their position, you receive more feedback at all levels of the organization. And when individual team members know they have a voice, they’ll enjoy their work more.
          3. Make fun a priority. At the Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle, you can see fishmongers tossing salmon, performing tricks with halibut—even inviting customers to smooch the fish. They generally have a grand old time at a place normally not associated with entertainment. But “fun” is an essential part of the market’s culture. Each fishmonger, in the words of the English philosopher and minister L.P. Jacks, “draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play.” As a result, the employees and the customers are happy.
That’s the kind of atmosphere I’ve worked to create at my companies, too. I love to have fun. I laugh a lot. In the business world, I think, leaders are too reluctant to relax around their teams. Perhaps they feel letting their hair down would detract from their authority.
That fear has never crossed my mind. Instead, I intentionally create experiences for my team so we can have fun together. I believe that is one of the reasons we work so well together, and a reason why the founders of Pike Place succeeded in their one, seemingly far-fetched goal: to be world famous!
          4. Focus on values. People can quit a job, but they find it hard to quit a cause. People want to know that what they do every day matters. That’s why, when assembling a team, I look for people’s values—not just their potential and skill. If you create a team based on shared collective principles, it is easier to keep everyone engaged and aligned.
Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh has done just that. He’s made “happiness” the central theme of his company. He says, “Happiness is about being able to combine pleasure, passion and purpose in one’s personal life.”
Companies today face tight competition for the top job candidates. Hsieh has created a culture that focuses on shared values and sustaining an enjoyable workplace. As a result Zappos has far more talented applicants than they have positions to fill. What a great problem to have.
As you make your workplace irresistible to job seekers and too good to leave once they’re in the door, remember those four guiding principles. I hope you don’t have to make a cross-country move like I  did, but I do hope your crew feels the same sense of loyalty to you because of the opportunities you offer, the respect you show them, and the good times you have together.
Embrace both the obvious and nuanced aspects of on-the-job contentment to help your company thrive. Learn the formula for happy employees.

8 Traits of Healthy Relationships-By Jim Rohn

          8 Traits of Healthy Relationships

Which of these will you work on today?

Nothing can bring more joy to life than beautifully fulfilling relationships. The depth of meaning, understanding and appreciation that these kinds of relationships bring is almost unfathomable. And, of course, as many people find out, nothing can bring so much pain as a broken relationship with someone dear to you.
Yes, relationships make the world go ’round. For better or for worse. But the exciting thing is that we can do much to increase our chances of having terrific relationships—relationships that are fulfilling and exciting, rich with meaning, joy and love. There are basics that govern most human relationships and these basics are what I want to cover below. So here is my list of the eight essentials that I believe make up the basics of healthy relationships.
          1. Love. Now, this all depends on your definition of love. Most people think that love is a feeling, but I would strongly debate that point. Actually, the concept of “like” is really about feelings. When you say you like someone, you are talking about how you feel. But when you say that you love someone, you are not necessarily talking about how you feel about them. Love is much deeper than a feeling. Love is a commitment we make to people to always treat that person right and honorably. Yes, for those we become especially close to, we will have feelings of love, but I believe it is time for us to re-examine what we mean by love. We must expand our definition of what love means by including the commitment aspect of love. For healthy relationships, we must love everyone. We may not like them based on how we feel about them, but we should love them based on our definition of love above which in turn determines how we should act toward them; that is, treat them right and honorably. This is the basis of all healthy relationships.
          2. Serving Heart. My good friend Zig Ziglar says frequently that “you can have everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want out of life.” The concept he is talking about is having a heart and life that is focused on serving other people. The Bible puts it this way: consider others’ interests as more important than your own. This is also fundamental to healthy relationships.
          3. Honest Communication. In any good relationship you will find open and honest communication. Communication is so important because it is the vehicle that allows us to verbalize what is inside us and enables it to connect with another person. Isn’t communication amazing? One person is feeling one thing, and through communication, another person can find that out and feel it too—amazing. And this is a vital goal in good relationships—to communicate, to tell each other what we are thinking and what we are feeling. It enables us to make a connection. Sometimes we are the one speaking and other times we are listening. Either way, the central tenet is communication for the sake of building the relationship and making it stronger. And here’s what’s exciting: If we just communicate, we can get by. But if we communicate skillfully, we can work miracles!
          4. Friendliness. Put simply, relationships just work better when we are friendly with others. Being friendly can cushion the bumpy ride we sometimes experience in our relationships. Cheerfulness goes a long way toward building lasting relationships. I mean, nobody wants to be around a grump, do they? The fact is that the friendlier you are the more you are going to have people who want to pursue longer-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with you. So cheer up, put on a smile, have kind words to say to others, treat people with a great deal of friendliness and you will see your relationships improve.
          5. Patience. People being people, we have an awful lot of time for practice in the area of patience. People are not perfect and will constantly fail us. And conversely we will fail other people. So while we try to have more patience for others, we need their patience as well. So often, I think relationships break down because people give up and lose patience. I am talking about all kinds of friendships, marriages, business relationships, etc. Recent research has shown that those marriages that go through major turmoil, and then make it through, are very strong after doing so. Patience wins out. Those who give up on relationships too early, or because the other person isn’t perfect, often forget that their next friend, their next spouse or business partner will not be perfect either! So we would do well to cultivate this skill and learn to have more patience.
          6. Loyalty. Loyalty is a commitment to another person. Sadly, loyalty is often a missing element in many relationships today. We have forgotten what it means to be loyal. Our consumer mentality has affected this to some degree. People are no longer loyal to a product. And unfortunately, many companies are not loyal to their clients or patrons. Regrettably, this has spilled over into our relationships. It is one thing to switch brands of dishwashing detergent. It is another thing altogether to switch friends. Sometimes we just need to commit to being loyal and let the relationship move forward. We need a higher level of stick-to-it-iveness! This kind of loyalty will take our relationships to a much deeper level. What a powerful and secure feeling of knowing that you have a relationship with someone who is loyal to you and you to them—that neither of you is going anywhere even when things get tough. Wow, how powerful!
          7. A Common Purpose. One of the basics of healthy relationships is to have a common purpose, and oftentimes this is a component that is initially overlooked, but for a long-term, long-lasting relationship it is vital. Think about how many friends you have met through the years while working on a common purpose. Maybe it was someone you met while participating in sports, while working on a political campaign, attending church, at your office, or anything that brought you together to work on a common purpose. You had that strong common bond of purpose that brought you together and held you together. Working together, building together, failing and succeeding together—all while pursuing a common purpose—is what relationships are made of. Find people with whom you have common purposes and sow the seeds of great relationships, and then reap the long-lasting benefits.
          8. Fun. All good relationships have some element of fun. Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean loud, raucous fun, though that is appropriate for some relationships. But even in business relationships there should be some fun. It should be fun to do business with those who you are going to have a long-term business relationship with. Fun brings enjoyment to the relationship and that is important. I think that oftentimes this key element can be easily forgotten or neglected in our family and spousal relationships. The fun things we did initially in a new relationship after a while can be taken for granted or simply fall by the wayside and we stop creating the fun and joy. So remember to consciously craft fun situations and moments, for these are the glue that hold our memories together and make our lives sweet.
There are so many key ingredients to making and maintaining great, long-lasting relationships. Each of the eight components we discussed brings unique dynamics and rewards to your relationships. Let’s begin to focus on improving our relationships in these areas and see what miracles occur! – See more at: http://www.success.com/article/8-traits-of-healthy-relationships#sthash.4y0azsYC.dpuf

          Controlled Attention by Napoleon Hill

Great Article About Controlling Your Attention to What Matters written by one of my favorites!

          Controlled Attention by Napoleon Hill

Controlled attention can be likened to a gardener who keeps his fertile garden spot cleared of weeds so that he can make it yield edible foods. The simile is perfect, for it is well known that the habit of neglecting to keep the mind filled with positive thoughts results in its becoming filled with the weeds of things one does not want.
You must either take charge of your mind and, by controlled attention, feed it the type of food you wish to produce, or you must pay the penalty of having your mind taken over by the negative influences of your environment. There is no compromise between these two circumstances. You either take possession of your mind and direct it toward the attainment of your major definite purpose, or your mind will take possession of you and give you whatever the circumstances of life hand out.
The choice, however, is within the control of every human being. The very fact that the power of thought is the only thing over which any human being has been given the right of complete control is highly suggestive of the huge potentialities available through the exercise of this profound prerogative.
Once you understand this principle of autosuggestion, it will be easy for you to understand why your mind should be kept busy at all times, in pursuit of a definite major purpose. That will keep your mind out of mischief and force it to work for you – not against you.
To summarize, autosuggestion is the tool with which we dig a mental path in the brain. Controlled attention is the hand that holds that tool. Habit is the map or blueprint which the mental path follows. An idea, or a desire to become transformed into action, must be held in the conscious mind until habit gives it permanent form. From there on autosuggestion does the rest by transferring the pattern to the subconscious mind where it is taken over and automatically carried out to its logical conclusion, by whatever practical means may be available to the individual.

GJ Reynolds Discusses Having A Growth Environment-Part 2

          • Environments with Growth is encouraged is a MUST!

Entrepreneur and ViMillioniare GJ Reynolds Discusses Having A Growth Environment Part 2 On The Simply G Radio Show, a Division of The Simply G Media Network

Simply G Media Network today announces the release of an interview with ViMillionaire GJ Reynolds on Simply G Radio Show with host Neil Haley, the Total Tutor.

He has written the book titled, “The Playful and Powerful Warrior Within You!” and holds the distinction of completing the Dale Brown & Project 10 Challenges, by losing 40 pounds and working out for over 1000 days straight. He is also ranked globally in the top ten percent of people in social media.
GJ shared some of the key aspects he learned from Leadership Expert John C. Maxwell on what a company needs to do to create a growth environment. GJ shared, “John C. Maxwell said to me to understand one never takes off a year to grow or checking into a college dorm. I choose to make myself clear. I am talking about performing while learning and creating a growth environment, in addition to what I am already doing.”
GJ continued his discussion on how to create a positive growth environment. John C Maxwell created the original ten steps. Three of them were discussed in the interview. GJ shared the importance of the sixth point. “Step six is to wake up excited. I wake up excited. I wake up and have a big gulp of life. What is the big gulp of your life? I am talking about positive ways to wake up be excited and see a great challenge everyday, you are able to attain.” As John C. Maxwell shared, “Most people when they die won’t know the difference. Live till you die and be sure to never confuse the two. “
The seventh step is a place where failure is never your enemy. GJ described this step. “When you move forward there are going to be some mistakes. Maybe there is a lesson you need to learn. My toughest times are the most powerful times. Every biography I have read, a person went through a tough time. They were able to overcome it and turn it into a positive.” As Mr. Maxwell shared with me, “Do not let success or failure define you.”
The eighth step is a place where others are growing. GJ talked about this step. “Are you growing as an individual? Most people fear failure more than they love learning. I love learning and applying what I have learned.”
