Surround Yourself With The Right People

When you study successful and happy people, there are several traits that are consistent with all of them. One of the traits that seem to stand out is where they surround themselves with ‘like minded’ people. You will seldom if ever, find a successful or happy person that is unable to have ‘like minded’ people they associate with, as a core group of people.

Look at most leadership books on key leaders and you will find the same ‘like minded’ people in their inner circle of influence. It has been said that your financial situation in life is directly associated to the five closest people you are around. What does this tell you? When you choose to improve your financial situation, be around people that are more successful. When you find yourself unhappy and feeling down chances are you are spending time with people who are in a similar place as you. Do you choose to improve this?

Associate with happy people and your happiness level will improve. This may seem very simple, because it is. You are whom you associate with. Many of the things you choose to change in your life are able to be changed, simply by the people you choose to associate with. Whatever area of your life you choose to change, your associations are able to and will dictate this.

Look for people that have what you choose and associate yourself with them. Look at whom you associate with and see how similar you might be with them.
